"I am the daughter of topedoman Allen Edwin Zumwalt, who served on the USS Snook SS-279.  I'm trying to find out which patrol or patrols  he served on.  I know he did not serve on the first and not the last.  Have read Mr. Cline's book on the Snook  and his name is the last one listed as serving on her.  I am interestd in more photos and anyone who may have served with him.

Dad was in the Navy from 1940 to 1946.  He met Mom while in Groton.  She a Hartford girl and he from Santa Rosa, California.
