"Your web page honoring your uncle 'Vic,' the USS Snook and its crew is most commendable.  It, also, honors all submariners, especially those still on 'Eternal Patrol.'

Having served on the boats, I was very impressed that 'Vic's' family is still able to remember and honor him and his shipmates.  My first boat was the Pomfret 391.  I qualified on the Bugara 331 and left the Stickleback in December of '57, just before it left for WESTPAC.  It was rammed by the DD Silverstein, while on maneuvers in Hawaiian waters.  My last boat was the Menhaden. Great job.  Carry on."
