"I am the nephew of Sidney Brownstein. He was only six weeks older than I.  His mother was my grandmother and my father was his brother.  So you can see that we were very close.  He ate with us for many years, in our early years.  Later we moved to other parts of Los Angeles and we lost touch and I eventually went into the Navy.  I didn't hear about Sid until I got out of the Navy."
