"My father served on the USS Snook 279.  His name is Howard "Earthquake" McCune.  He was a Torpedoman's Mate 1st Class, rear torpedo room.  He was injured and in the hospital at Guam when the Snook left on its last mission.  He passed away earlier this month (Dec, 2016) at the age of 92.  He talked about the guys on the Snook often.  I'll get some things together to send you.  I think he has some pictures with Eddie....which may be Edward Clark. Here's a picture of him with his good buddies Page and Crawford on R&R in Hawaii.  In the crew photo my dad is directly in front of "DC."
