"Your message was rather timely as a veteran lost his older brother on Snook and stopped by the museum just last week.  It was his brother's second patrol on a submarine, both on Snook, when the boat was lost.  We had some info on file here that we were able to help but we have no photograph of the submariner, Anthony Gambardella.

 

Alphonse is getting on in years and in a retirement home, but still physically mobile and recalls about his brother.  He said he had a photograph of his brother and I am trying to have him get me a copy.  I sent him some of the links to your website as someone might be able to assist him.
