"I am not able to recognize Harold Malcolm Johnson in the group photo of the crew of the USS Snook.  It is possible, he was not available for this group photo, which is not uncomon.  The following is the latest data in my data base on Harold.  He made the 1st through 7th war patrols on the USS Tinosa SS-283.  I made the 5th through through the 10th war patrols USS Tinosa SS-283.  He and I were stationed in the After Engine Room at the same times.  He was an old time well experienced First Class Motor Machinst at the time."
