"My great-grandmother was married to Little Ones’ father, Ones C. McEntyer, her second marriage.  I managed to luck into an auction for the Certificate/Letter from Harry S. Truman to Ones’ family announcing his death at sea.  It is the same Certificate that you have on your website for Vic Gregorini, just in Ones’ name.  Crazy as it seems, somebody on the Ancestry.com website emailed me telling me it was up for sale.  Anyway, why on Earth they picked me to get in touch with is beyond me, but, I bought it for $100.00 and have it framed on my wall in the guest room.  It is kind of hard to believe that it ended up in my hands.  The lady whom I purchased it from had bought a bunch of books at a garage sale, taken the books she wanted out of the box and put the remainder of them up in the attic.  Then the next time she went through the box she came across the letter in a frame.  She said she didn't know how she missed it the first time.  There was also behind it a newspaper clipping about another sailor, but I can’t remember who it was and I have it put up in some boxes.  For some reason I’m thinking it was not somebody who was on the Snook.  I will try to find it and email you a copy of it too, in case it is anybody that somebody may want info on.”
